Nestled under a tall oak tree in the countryside of Georgia is a cream colored home passed down through generations. Inside its’ walls our family was hunkered down during the height of the pandemic. Like most individuals, we were searching for something to connect us to the outside world again, while providing an outlet for our hobbies.

In October 2021, we took a big jump and opened Whatever is Tru, engraving and making a variety of items. When our business turned one year old, we knew we were ready to rebrand and focus all of our efforts on making custom, one-of-a-kind genuine leather patch hats, and Tru Hat Co. was born.

To date, we have shipped family friendly custom leather patch hats all over the United States and have fulfilled orders from 1-1,000+.

  • MEET BLAIR

    Blair is one part of our husband and wife duo. She is our in-house graphic designer and most likely the first person you meet at Tru Hat Co. She is also an expert on fit and composition. Her favorite Richardson Hat styles are the 111 and 115. Fun fact about this girl, she not only has a degree in Sports Management, she also holds a certificate from Harvard in Innovation & Creativity.

  • MEET ADAM

    Adam likes to call himself our Chief Hat Wearer. He handles all of our ordering, stock, and gets us across the finish line with bulk orders. His favorite Richardson hat styles are the 256 and 168. Fun fact about Adam, he can always win at trivia and was the host of a nationally recognized podcast.
